Brennan Projected To Win Re-Election In 29th District Race
Voters in the 29th Legislative District cast votes in Tuesday's general election for state representative.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — State Rep. Tim Brennan is projected to win re-election as state representative in the 29th Legislative District, according to unofficial election results.
Brennan, a Democrat, faced an Election Day challenge from Republican Steve Mekanik and Libertarian Rob Ronky.
Brennan, a former Doylestown Borough Councilman, was seeking his second term in the state legislature. If re-elected, he said his legislative priorities would focus on roads, public safety, the needs of first responders and quality of life.

With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Brennan has 55.4 percent of the vote, Mekanik has 42.2 percent and Ronky has 2.1 percent. Here are the unofficial numbers:
- Democrat Tim Brennan — 24,904
- Republican Steve Mekanik — 18,930
- Libertarian Rob Ronky — 952
The 29th Legislative District includes Doylestown Borough, Doylestown Township, Chalfont Borough, New Britain Borough, Buckingham Township, Solebury Township and New Hope Borough.
