Huge Rocks Fall Onto Road, Closing Point Pleasant Pike
Traffic alert: A portion of Point Pleasant Pike in Plumstead is closed after large rocks fell into the roadway.
PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of Point Pleasant Pike is closed after large rocks fell onto the roadway, police in Plumstead said Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, the road is currently closed between River Road and Tollgate Road.
PennDOT is aware the rocks fell, police said. "We urge all drivers to use caution in the area," police said.
