Falling Tree Kills Former Central Bucks School District Librarian

A former Central Bucks School District employee was struck and killed by a falling tree Wednesday on the Saucon Rail Trail, according to sources.

Robbin Mary Danko, 61, of Springfield Township, was struck by the tree around 2:30 p.m. on the 1700 block of Valerie Lane in Northampton County, according to Action News. She later died at a Bethlehem hospital, the outlet said.

Her cause of death was ruled to be blunt force trauma and the manner of death was ruled an accident, the coroner's office told NBC 10.

Danko was a former Central Bucks School District employee, including as a media specialist at Bridge Valley Elementary School.
