She said she's noticed that many families attended the local protest earlier this week, yet not many were able to bring their children.
"Creating a space where children can feel safe to express the basic concept that bullying (especially in the form of racism) is wrong is essential for our future," Hopwood said in the email.

"So many parents are stepping up to talk to their children about this difficult subject. And so many kids are speaking out against racism. We hope that this will bring visibility to the fact that no age is too young to talk about racism. Our focus is how to be an ally and how to stand up for what’s right."
