Felony Lane Gang Strikes Bucks Co., Multiple Thefts Reported

Police are warning residents after simultaneous reports of thefts this morning involving what authorities believe is the Felony Lane Gang.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Police in Bucks County are warning residents after simultaneous reports of thefts early Friday morning involving what authorities believe is the Felony Lane Gang — a criminal enterprise that targets gyms, daycares, and sports fields to steal purses and wallets from cars.

According to Newtown Township Police, just before 7:30 a.m. this morning, police were dispatched to a daycare in Newtown Township and a gym in Wrightstown Township "almost simultaneously" for reports of thefts from cars.

In both cases, the victim's car windows had been broken and purses had been taken, police said. Police checked out surrounding daycares and gyms, all of which have been targets of the Felony Lane Gang in the past, according to information from authorities.

"We urge everyone to keep your vehicles locked and your valuables out of sight, or even better out of your vehicles, at all times," Newtown Township police said.

This is not the first time the Felony Lane Gang has targeted Bucks County residents. Last year, Hilltown Township Police warned residents of an increase in reports involving the criminal enterprise.

The group targets gyms and daycares "because people frequently leave their wallet or purse inside their vehicle," Hilltown Township police said at the time.

The Morrisville and Yardley area has also been a frequent target.
