Fights At Doylestown Pizzeria, Bar Lead To Assault Charges

One fight occurred at Artistic Pizzeria, and another at M.O.M.'s.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Multiple assault charges have been filed in Doylestown in connection with three separate incidents occurring earlier this month.

The first incident occurred on Feb. 9. Authorities charged Charles Lowry, 52, with assault, harassment, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct after a physical altercation at Artistic Pizzeria on W. State Street.

Police said Lowry made derogatory remarks and punched the victim in the face twice. He was located by police several blocks away and had heavily slurred speech, a strong odor of alcohol, and difficulty comprehending, police said.

On Feb. 10, police filed assault charges in connection with a Feb. 1 incident at M.O.M.'s. Central Bucks Regional Police have charged Timothy Gower, 22, of Warrington with assault after authorities said he punched a person in the face at the bar.

On Feb. 14, Michael S. Mastrangelo was charged with assault in connection with a domestic dispute. Police said Mastrangelo grabbed the victim and threw them to the ground. Mastrangelo was arraigned and remanded to Bucks County Prison after failing to make bail, which was set at 10 percent of$50,000.
