Firefighters Extinguish Truck Fire, Prevent Spread To Buckingham Home
Engine 35 arrived with a crew of seven and quickly extinguished both vehicles before the fire extended into the dwelling.

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Firefighters quickly knocked down a vehicle fire before it extended to a house Sunday evening in Buckingham Township.
Firefighters from Wrightstown, Buckingham, Newtown and Doylestown responded to the scene just after 5 p.m. for a dwelling and vehicle fire in the 1300 block of Creek Road
Lingohocken Fire Company's Assistant 35 arrived to find a pickup truck well involved with extension to another vehicle and possibly the residence. Lingohocken's Engine 35 arrived with a crew of seven and quickly extinguished both vehicles before the fire extended into the dwelling.

Engine 35, Tanker 35, Rescue 35, and Engine 95 from Lingohocken, Newtown Fire Rescue R45, Midway Volunteer Fire Company Ladder 5 and Tanker 5 made the response as well as Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 Tower 79 as the Rapid Intervention Team.
Crews checked for extension and ventilated the building before the assignment was scaled back and the scene turned over to Fire Marshal 226. Deputy 35 had Buckingham Command. No injuries were reported.
