Fireworks will cap off Winterfest fun in Sellersville and a new exhibition of never-seen-before works opens at the Michener Art Museum.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — This weekend, the Borough of Sellersville will celebrate its 150th anniversary during its Winterfest Celebration. The Saturday event will include s’mores around the firepit; crafts and games throughout town; horse and carriage rides up and down Main Street; the arrival of Santa; a grand fireworks display; and lots more.

Show Unveils Never-Before-Seen Garden Botanicals
Bucks County artist and woodworker Mark Sfirri’s opens his first solo exhibition at the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown this weekend featuring an all-new springtime series, resulting from a two-year obsession with turned wood flowers. This garden of dynamic botanical creations is on view from December 14, 2024 to May 4, 2025. Read More

Winterfest Celebrates Sellersville's 150th With Fireworks
Despite the absence of its beloved carnival this year, the Sellersville Fire Department is keeping the tradition of dazzling fireworks alive, thanks to the continued support of a $4,000 donation from A&T Chevrolet-Subaru. The fireworks display, a staple of the Sellersville Fire Department Carnival, will return as the grand finale of the Sellersville Borough Winterfest celebration on Saturday, December 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. This year’s Winterfest event also marks the 150th anniversary of Sellersville Borough, and the fireworks will help light up the skies during the evening’s festivities. First-Ever Holiday Party Coming To Yardley Borough
On Sunday, Dec. 15 the public is invited to take a festive stroll through downtown Yardley Borough during its first-ever Yardley Holiday Party. Participating businesses are hosting open-house-style events with loads of fun festivities from music, complimentary beverages, and nibbles to in-shop specials, pop-ups, and holiday discounts. Concert Celebrates The Music Of Composer John Williams
The Pennsylvania Philharmonic presents the music of composer John Williams on Sunday, Dec. 15 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Zlock Auditorium on the campus of the Bucks County Community College on Swamp Road in Newtown. Guests will experience the magic of the holiday season with the iconic music of America’s greatest composer, John Williams. The audience will hear beloved selections from E.T. , Harry Potter, Home Alone, Star Wars, Indiana Jones Trilogy (Series), Hook and much more. They'll also hear the sounds of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Manheim Steamroller plus the Pennsylvania Philharmonic Holiday Brass. The cost is $47. Read More.

Festival of Trees Continues at the Pearl S. Buck House
Each year during the annual Festival of Trees, the rooms of Pearl S. Buck’s iconic Bucks County stone farmhouse at 520 Dublin Road, Perkasie, come alive with the glow of holiday decorations. The event showcases beautiful trees and vignettes designed by Bucks County’s best artists, decorators, and local community groups to convey the spirit of Pearl S. Buck’s legacy as an author, humanitarian, and activist. Visitors have the opportunity to vote for their favorite display. Festival of Trees remains one of the most unique and historic holiday traditions in the region. Regular and candlelight tours are being held through Dec. 24. Read More.
