Flooding Prompts Road Closures In Warwick Township

Flooding has shut down two roadways in the township. Police are urging motorists not to drive through flood waters.

WARWICK TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Warwick Township have closed Creek Road and Mearns Road just north of Bristol Road due to flooding.

"Our emergency crews have responded for a vehicle stuck in flood water on Mearns Road," police said. "Please do not drive on flooded roads."

Heavy thunderstorms rolled through the area early Friday afternoon, causing flash flooding in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
