Fonthill Castle Beer Fest To Showcase Local Breweries Saturday
More than a dozen local companies will be offering up their brews Saturday afternoon at Fonthill Castle's annual fundraising event.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — After moving Beer Fest online last August due to the coronavirus pandemic, Fonthill Castle is set to welcome guests back Saturday afternoon for its annual end-of-summer fundraising event.
Beer Fest 2021 will showcase craft beers from more than a dozen local breweries, with attendees to receive a commemorative beer-tasting glass, according to organizers.
Chambers 19 Bistro & Bar will be offering several food options, while Billy and Miles from the Where’s Pete band are set to perform at the event.

General admission tickets for members of the Bucks County Historical Society will cost $60 each, with non-member tickets priced at $70 each. Designated drivers can grab a ticket for $25. Tickets can be purchased online.
The event starts at 2 p.m. for beer enthusiasts with general-admission tickets, but those with VIP tickets, priced at $150 each, can get in an hour earlier.

VIP tickets also grant holders exclusive access to Fonthill Castle’s historic Terrace Pavilion, a beer-tasting tent and the castle’s air-conditioned Welcome Center, as well as additional food options from Chambers 19 Bistro & Bar, according to organizers.
“We are so happy to be able to host this wonderful fundraising event for Fonthill Castle again this year,” said Heather Cevasco, who chairs the Bucks County Historical Society’s Board of Trustees. “It has never been more important to come out and support local cultural institutions, and what better way to do so than at an outdoor beer festival on the grounds of a castle in the heart of Bucks County.”
Bucks County Transport will provide free DART Bus services to all Beer Fest attendees who display their event wristbands. The shuttle will run run every 20 minutes from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with three stops: Fonthill Castle; the intersection of South Main Street and West State Street; and the intersection of West State Street and Hamilton Street.
Free parking is available at Fonthill Castle, 525 E. Court St., according to organizers.
Participating breweries include Blueprint Brewing Co., Boulevard Brewing Co., Bucks County Brewery, Evil Genius Beer Company, Free Will Brewing, Geronimo Brewing Co., Great Barn Brewery, Mad Princes Brewing, McAllister Brewing Company, Newtown Brewing Co., Red Lion Brewery, Round Guys Brewing Company, Ship Bottom Brewery, Vault Brewing and Workhouse Brewing Co.
