Fonthill Raises A Glass To Summer With Beer Fest Fundraiser In Doylestown

The event offers beer enthusiasts plenty of room to enjoy the one-of-a-kind setting while sampling a variety of regional craft brews.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A beer festival like no other will unfold on Saturday, Aug. 23 on the grounds of the historic Fonthill Castle in Doylestown.

From 2 to 5 p.m., the Bucks County Historical Society will host its annual Fonthill Castle Beer Fest, offering beer enthusiasts over the age of 21 plenty of room to enjoy the one-of-a-kind setting while sampling a variety of regional craft brews.

According to organizers, the annual fundraising event supports an array of year-round education, community programs, and conservation efforts at Fonthill Castle, a National Historic Landmark in the heart of the Bucks County seat.

This year's Beer Fest kicks off with a special VIP hour from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by general admission hours from 2 to 5 p.m.

During Beer Fest, VIP guests will enjoy a bespoke event experience, including one-hour early admission to the event and all-access to general admission breweries, exclusive access to the historic Terrace Pavilion, a VIP-only lounge area with comfortable seating, air-conditioning and restrooms, exclusive curated beer options provided by B&B Beverage, specialty catered VIP food offerings, and deluxe chocolates from Pierre’s Chocolates.

This year’s event features delicious light bites by THE Catering Company and the musical talents of Billy & Miles from Where’s Pete Band. A commemorative beer-tasting glass for VIP and general admission ticket holders serves as a perfect keepsake for those supporting Fonthill Castle’s preservation and educational initiatives.

The 2025 breweries are Aristaeus Craft Brewing, Artifact Brewing, Athletic Brewing Co., Atomic Dog Hard Cider, Broad Street Brewing, Cartesian Local Origin Brewing, Free Will Brewing, Geronimo Brewing, Manic Minds Brewing Co., Revolution Bees, Round Guys Brewing Company, Triumph rewing Co., Two Rivers Taproom, Under Stable Brewing, Vault Brewing, Warwick Farm Brewing, and Wissahickon Brewing Co.

“This major fundraising event is crucial to our mission and the generous support of our attendees helps us to continue our educational and preservation initiatives,” says Kyle McKoy, President & CEO of BCHS. “We are thrilled to host our annual Beer Fest once again at Fonthill Castle!”

Tickets are $175 per person for VIP, $500 for a VIP 4-pack, $95 for General Admission, $90 for BCHS Member General Admission, and $25 for Designated Drivers.
