Food Drive Planned Friday In Doylestown

Doylestown Borough and the Bucks County Opportunity Council will hold a food drive this Friday, May 1. Details:

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Doylestown Borough and the Bucks County Opportunity Council will hold a food drive this Friday, May 1 at William Neis Park on West Street.

The food drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The park is adjacent to Doyle Elementary.

You can simply pull up, stay in your car, and a volunteer will unload your donation for you. Organizers ask that one person bring the food so as to reduce contact.

If you'd like to donate online, you can do so through this link from the Bucks County Opportunity Council. The Bucks County Opportunity Council is a nonprofit anti-poverty organization operating throughout Bucks County. It is based in Doylestown with offices in Bristol and Quakertown.

Donations of the following items are needed. (Please do not donate items in glass jars or expired goods.)
