Gas Prices Nearly 50 Cents Lower Than Last Year

Low demand and lower prices for crude oil continue to drive gas prices downward, according to AAA’s fuel report.

In Pennsylvania, the average for a gallon of self-serve regular is $3.490 per gallon down 6.2 cents from a week ago.

In Bucks and Montgomery, the average price for a gallon is $3.480; that’s 47.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, which is 4.75 cents from a week ago, 18.3 cents lower than a month ago.

Nearby, the cheapest price for regular is $3.40 at the Liberty gas stations at 235 N. Main St. and 290 W. State St., and the Doylestown Getty at 539 N. Main St.
