NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in New Britain Township are investigating a porta potty fire that was set Halloween night at North Branch Park.

Police and fire crews responded around 8:48 p.m. for the report of the fire. Authorities soon determined that someone had lit fire to the portable toilet at the park, which is located behind the township building.

"The portable toilet was completely engulfed and destroyed," police said, calling it arson.
