Here's The Latest On The New Wawa Coming To Doylestown
Here's the latest on construction of a new Wawa on S. Main Street in Doylestown.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Construction of the new Wawa building on S. Main Street in Doylestown Borough will begin in early spring, according to borough officials.
Site work for the 4,700-square-foot store and associated gas pumps has already begun. Work to erect the building and the 12 gas pumps is forthcoming and expected to begin early spring, Borough Manager Jon Davis said.
The Doylestown Borough Council approved the application for the new Wawa in November 2018.The new store and gas station will be at the site of the former TD Bank.

As part of the approval, Wawa will make some improvements to the area, including a new gateway to Doylestown sign and a multi-use pathway. The applicant committed to a $20,000 contribution towards the path's construction.
Additionally, pedestrian crosswalks along Main Street and at the ramps for the Rt. 202 Bypass will be installed as part of the project.
