BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A home burglary on March 11 on Ridgeview Drive may have been committed by a group of organized thieves, Buckingham Police say. And police are asking residents to be extra vigilant.

Police said video surveillance of the area shows three men running from the home in the 5700 block of Ridgeview after they were scared off by the homeowners who were upstairs at the time of the break-in and heard loud noises coming from the basement. The homeowners called 911 and announced from the second floor that they were calling 911.

Police said the intruders disconnected the property's phone line and attempted to disable the home's security system before entering the home through a rear basement door.
