DOYLESTOWN, PA — If you haven't already, it's time to start thinking about how to get rid of that Christmas tree in your home.

While most Christmas tree fires occur between Christmas and New Year's Day, the risk remains high after the new year as trees dry out, according to the National Fire Protection Association. You can help prevent fires by watering your tree to prevent it from drying out.
