DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Doylestown Borough Water Department will be flushing hydrants on Monday, August 25, beginning at 7 p.m.

Crews will work in higher-traffic areas Monday night, then continue flushing throughout the borough during normal business hours Tuesday through Friday. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, August 29 at 3 p.m.

During the flushing process, customers may notice temporary low water pressure or discolored water. This is a normal part of the process, said water company officials. To clear the discolorization, just run the cold water (bathtub or outside spigot).
