Wawa Beginning To Take Shape In Newtown

The new Wawa convenience store and gas station is beginning to take shape along the heavily traveled Newtown Bypass. The familiar white canopy, that will protect motorists as they are fueling their vehicles, has sprouted from the dirt-covered site at the intersection of the Newtown Bypass and Lower Silver Lake Road. The Thompson Organization has announced the return of its highly anticipated "Draw the Future" contest, an annual celebration of creativity and imagination just for kids. SCORE Bucks Wins Chapter Of The Year Award

Under the leadership of the chapter’s first-ever female chairwoman, SCORE Bucks County beat out nine other chapters in the Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware District to be named SCORE Chapter of the Year.The 2025 SCORE Chapter of the Year recognition is based upon the chapter’s achievements in fiscal year 2024. SCORE Bucks County mentor Linda Zangrilli, who served as chairwoman from 2020through 2024, led the chapter’s year-over-year double-digit percentage increases in the number of mentoring sessions, mentoring hours, volunteer mentors, and welcomed more than 100 new small business owners for mentoring during fiscal year 2024, which began Oct. 1, 2023 and concluded on Sept. 30, 2024. Eagles' Howie Roseman Coming To Oxford Valley Mall

A store in the Oxford Valley Mall continues to host Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles with another appearance slated for this weekend. General Manager Howie Roseman, the architect of both of the franchise's Super Bowl winners, is expected to appear at Dynasty Sports & Framing in the Oxford Valley Mall for a meet and greet and autograph signing with fans.
