What do we know of spires?

Colors lift while spires reach.

What of those points away from earth?

Arches of stone tell history,

While skinny spires probe the sky

Daring lightning.

We see no people in a spire

Spires are built for thrust, not room.

Spires know the weight of thought

As a burden lifted easily,

Millions of breaths

Looking up.
