DOYLESTOWN, PA — A jury will continue deliberations Thursday morning in connection with criminal homicide charges against Sean Kratz in the Solebury Township farm murder case. Deliberations began Wednesday.

Kratz, 22, is charged with three counts of criminal homicide. He’s also charged with conspiracy, robbery, and abuse of a corpse. He rejected a plea deal in 2018 that would have landed him a jail sentence. If convicted, he could face the death penalty.

He is charged connection with three of the four murders carried out in July 2017 on a Solebury Township farm owned by the family of his cousin, Cosmo DiNardo. DiNardo has already pleaded guilty and is serving a life sentence for four murders.

DiNardo killed Jimi Taro Patrick, 19, of Newtown Township first. Two days later, authorities say DiNardo and Kratz killed Dean Finocchiaro, 19, of Middletown Township; Thomas Meo, 21, of Plumstead Township; and Mark Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg.

DiNardo was expected to testify at the trial, which began Nov. 6. However, he rejected a subpoena and refused a bus ride to court Friday.
