DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Get out your rakes and power up your leaf blowers. Fall leaf collection season is officially underway in Doylestown Borough.

Doylestown officials are asking residents to follow the following rules in preparing their leaves for collection:

  • Rule #1: Leaves Only - Put leaves only out for collection - no sticks, branches, rocks, bricks, or other debris. Our vacuum machines are designed for leaves, and anything else can damage the equipment and put our workers at risk. Placing anything other than leaves out for collection is unlawful.
  • Rule #2: Place Leaves at the Curb (not in the street) - Pile leaves at the edge of your yard, on the grass by the curb where possible. Please do not place them in the street or gutter - wet leaves block storm drains, create drainage issues, and are harder to collect. Keeping them out of the road makes the process much smoother.
  • Rule #3: Set Leaves Out on Time - Leaves must be placed out by Monday morning of your scheduled collection weeks. Each Borough service district will have two collections. If you miss your collection dates, you can bring bagged leaves to our facility at 300 Harvey Avenue.

Collection Schedule

  • Area One: October 13 & November 17
  • Area Two: October 20 & November 24
  • Area Three: October 27 & December 1
  • Area Four: November 3 & December 8
  • Area Five: November 10 & December 15
