Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?: Yes
What does the nominee do for work?: Works at Giant
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Emma is a senior at CB South. She did not work at Giant prior to Covid-19. Despite all the disappointment surrounding all the losses of her senior year, when she heard that Giant was desperate for help, she didn’t hesitate to put herself on the front lines and help wherever needed. This sums up her caring personality and her strong work ethic. While most people are nice, there are daily stories of people not being nice to her.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She will be a going to East Carolina University to study music therapy in the fall.
