Local Volleyball Team Hosting Fundraiser For Hatboro Officer

Central Bucks South High School's Girls' Volleyball team will host a gift card collection to benefit recently injured Officer Ryan Allen.

WARRINGTON, PA —The Central Bucks South High School's Girls's Volleyball team will be hosting a charity event to benefit the recently injured Officer Ryan Allen of the Hatboro Police Department.

The sports team will be hosting a gift card collection event at their high school in Warrington on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The gift card collection event will be taking gift cards for Wegmans and Target to benefit the family of Officer Ryan Allen, who was hospitalized following a severe allergic reaction to a bee sting in October, which has caused a brain injury. He is currently recovering after going into cardiac arrest and subsequently falling into a coma.

Organizers of the event say that monetary donations will also be accepted in place of gift cards for those who can not get cards in time.

Donations can be dropped off at the front of Central Bucks South High School, located on 1100 Folly Road in Warrington.
