NEWTOWN, PA — Lovebird has expanded in Bucks County.

The eatery, which has a Doylestown location, is now open on Sycamore Street in Newtown. The Newtown store is located next to Greenstraw in the space that was previously Knitting To Know Ewe.

The menu includes fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, salads and bowls. There are also sides, including hand-cut fries, mac and cheese, slaw and more. You can see the full menu here.

The restaurant is created by John Ordway, the founder of Jules Thin Crust, which also has locations in Doylestown and Newtown.

Ordway, when explaining the concept during a Newtown Township meeting late last year, said Lovebird offers "high end fried chicken" sourced from a specific Amish farm in Western Pennsylvania.

Restaurant hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

The Doylestown Lovebird is located at 19 E Oakland Ave.
