Main Jailed For Plumstead Robbery, Stabbing
For six hours, he used a mitre saw in an attempt to cut a safe from the Plumstead home's wall. He also stabbed and beat the homeowner.

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — A Delaware man has been sentenced to 8 to 20 years in state prison for a 2017 robbery and assault that happened in Plumstead Township.
Xavier McGhee, known as Benjie, 28, this week pleaded guilty to robbery, burglary, aggravated assault and theft charges related to a September 2017 incident in Patriot’s Ridge Development.
According to police, McGee entered a residence with the intent to steal a wall-mounted safe. For six hours, McGee and an accomplice used a mitre saw in an attempt to cut the safe out of the wall.

The pair were not successful and when the homeowner came home, they demanded the safe's code, police said. The homeowner refused to provide it, resulting in McGhee and his accomplice stabbing and beating the resident with a hammer.
McGhee and his accomplice were arrested after a multi-state investigation.
