Man Caught Stealing Copper Piping From Warrington Store: Police
In other reports, police charge man with stealing a car. Another man was arrested for retail theft and barred from Walmart store.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Police reported the following incidents and arrests between Jan. 23 and Jan. 30:
January 23
- Police responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft. Upon arrival loss prevention related that 72-year-old Arthur Joseph Egan from Hatboro was in custody retail theft. Egan concealed $39.92 worth of merchandise and exited the store while failing to pay for the merchandise. Loss prevention related Egan was previously arrested for retail theft at Walmart and advised he was not permitted on Walmart property. Egan was placed under arrest and transported the station where he was processed. Egan was arraigned by Judge Marriott who set bail at $45,000 unsecured.

January 28
- A resident reported to police that 41-year-old Fenwick Weinheimer from Warrington had taken her vehicle and failed to return it. Weinheimer was arrested, processed, and arraigned by Judge Snow who set bail at $25,000 or 10 percent cash. Unable to post bail, Weinheimer was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. He is charged with unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
- Around 1:14 p.m., an alert police officer on patrol in the parking lot of the Warrington Plaza Shopping Center observed a man walking away from the Home Depot parking lot south towards Street Road. The man was carrying a large black trash bag which appeared to have boxes inside as well as a black book bag which had another smaller bag attached. The officer observed the man approach a vehicle that had just parked nearby. He pulled out a Ryobi box from the trash bag and showed it to the person. After a brief discussion, they went their separate ways. The man continued to walk towards the SEPTA bus stop where police approached him. The man was identified as 35-year-old Brian Antonuccio of Warminster. The trash bag contained stolen merchandise from Home Depot valued at $397. Loss prevention staff at Home Depot reported to police that on January 28 at approximately 1 p.m. Antonuccio entered the store with an empty orange flatbed shopping cart. At approximately 1:04 p.m. Antonuccio exited the store with the flatbed shopping cart containing two items. Antonuccio passed all points of sale ultimately failing to render payment for the merchandise. The items were the same items collected by police and subsequently returned to Home Depot. Antonuccio has an extensive history of shoplifting convictions, police said.
January 30

- At 10:07 a.m., police were dispatched to the Lowe's store at 425 Easton Road for a retail theft. They were met at the store by loss prevention officers who reported a man who walked out of the store with $502.30 worth of copper pipe fittings concealed under his jacket. The 45-year-old man from Philadelphia was arrested and transported to police headquarters before being released from custody. Charges were filed with district court.
