Man Charged With Aggravated Assault Following Doylestown Incident

The charges followed a verbal altercation inside a restaurant that turned physical outside on the street.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — A Doylestown man faces aggravated assault charges after a verbal confrontation turned physical in downtown Doylestown.

The Central Bucks Regional Police Department arrested 23-year-old Patrick Stan Kulikowski on Friday following a verbal altercation between a man and a woman at Maxwell's On Main that escalated into a physical altercation on the street.

Police said after getting into a verbal argument, Kulikowski and the victim were told by the restaurant's employees to leave the establishment. After leaving, police said Kulikowski followed the woman to her car and elevated the confrontation to physical contact, pushing the victim against a building on Pine Street and then punching the victim repeatedly in the face.

Kulikowski was arraigned, bail was set at 10 percent of $100,000, and he was remanded to Bucks County Prison. He is charged with aggravated assault, a first-degree felony; two counts of simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and two counts of disorderly conduct, a third-degree misdemeanor.
