Man Struck And Killed Thanksgiving Eve In Upper Bucks Co.

State Police from the Dublin Barracks are investigating the pedestrian accident that claimed the life of a 70-year-old man.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A Quakertown man was struck and killed on Thanksgiving Eve while he was walking along Allentown Road in Milford Township.

Wayne Carl Kelchner, 70, of Quakertown, was transported to Saint Luke's Upper Bucks Campus where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

State Police at Dublin said the accident happened at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, when Kelchner was struck by a 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer operated by a 55-year-old woman in the area of 1765 Allentown Road.

The crash is being investigated by the Dublin Patrol Unit. Assisting with the investigation are the Troop M Forensic Services Unit, Dublin Criminal Investigation Unit, and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.
