DOYLESTOWN, PA — A live concert experience - A Night of Song - continues on Feb. 21 at the TileWorks of Bucks County with a concert honoring Black and LGBTQ+ History Months.

The concert, set against the backdrop of the Big Room and within the centuries-old surrounds of old tools and tiles, will feature performances by Sug Daniels, Sovei, and guest host, Joe Montone.

Sug Daniels is a Delaware-born, Philadelphia-based, singer-songwriter, storyteller, and producer who uses the tools around her to capture the emotions of an era. Daniels’ work is as colorful, vulnerable, and charismatic as her personality. She thoughtfully combines elements of folk, rock, and soul alternatives to create personal and tender music interlaced with messages of truth and positive change.

"Whenever I am blessed enough to play music to people, I see it as a way to aid in creating an atmosphere of sharing and community," says Sug. She continues, "Joe Montone has continuously led me to stages with crowds eager to hear a story and relate to each other."

Opening the night is multidisciplinary artist, Sovei. Their music seeks to enchant, tease, and transport. Their sound is a collage of existential introspection, sonic experimentation, and vocals reminiscent of Billie Holiday, Willow Smith, and Erykah Badu. Still and expansive, cinematic and soulful, Sovei is a spellcaster who welcomes listeners into their beautifully haunting world.

Series creator, Joe Montone, will conduct brief interviews with each artist before their sets. After almost 16 years of producing live events in Bucks County such as Picnics On Pine, he says, "It is a dream of mine to work alongside the TileWorks team and present live music in this incredibly iconic room!"

The immersive event is the second collaborative creation of his newly-founded nonprofit, Stage United, which seeks to inspire communities in Bucks County and beyond through greater access to unique live music programming.

"A Night Of Song" is one of the many advancements at Tile Works since the nonprofit The TileWorks Of Bucks County assumed operations in 2021. It is now a sought-after gem for concerts, fireside chats, and other cultural events.

In March, the "A Night Of Song" series will conclude with CAIOLA of Yardley and a special guest local opener.

Arrival for audiences on Friday, Feb. 21 is set for 6:30 p.m. with showtime at 7:30. "A Night Of Song" is open to all ages. The TileWorks of Bucks County is located at 130 East Swamp Road in Doylestown.
