Neshaminy Manor Honors Those Lost To COVID-19 Pandemic

The Bucks County long-term care facility held a private memorial service to pay tribute to those lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.

WARRINGTON, PA — Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home held a private memorial dedication service last week to pay tribute to those who lost their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Four new butterfly bushes, donated by the Resident Council, and a dogwood tree donated by Temple University and Penn Medicine serve as a memory and celebration of those who died. There ceremony took place at the Kathy Bates Pavilion, named after the center's former longtime activities director.

At the ceremony, County Commissioner Bob Harvie said the new additions to the garden are “a reminder of growth,” after a year of great loss.

Neshaminy Manor is a nonprofit nursing home funded in part by taxpayers at the local, state and federal levels. The 360-bed long-term care facility is located at 1660 Easton Road in Warrington.
