NEW BRITAIN, PA — The New Britain Food Pantry is looking for a new place to call home.

In a social media posting on Friday, the pantry's executive director Cindy Field announced that the pantry is looking for the community's help to find and secure a new location in 2026.

"Due to recent and anticipated changes in control of the former New Britain Baptist Church property, the New Britain Food Pantry will be leaving its current location on or before September 2026," said Field. "The food pantry is currently seeking a new space, and asking our community for help."

Field said the pantry is looking for a space that's at least 4,000 square feet with ground-floor easy access and space for a walk-in freezer.

"To continue to serve our clients, this space needs to be within the bounds of the Central Bucks School District," said Field. "While we do have a realtor working with us, we are reaching out to the broader community in the hopes that someone may be aware of a suitable space."
