New Fast Casual Eatery Joining The Lineup At Doylestown's Barn Plaza

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Juice Pod - a regional fast-casual health food franchise serving fresh and healthy made-to-order juices and bowls - is coming to the Barn Plaza off of Easton Road later this year.

The new cafe will be joining First Watch and Chipotle in a new stand-alone building now taking shape at the former site of Applebee’s, which closed its doors a few years ago.

The Delaware County-based Juice Pod will be taking the smallest of the three spaces where it will be serving a variety of açaí, coconut, green and grain bowls; toasts; bagels; paninis; salads; wraps; pudding and pitaya bowls; oatmeal bowls; smoothies; and cold pressed juices.

Founded in 2016 by Danielle Leonhardt in New Jersey and expanded to Pennsylvania in 2018 by her sister Christine Wyatt, The Juice Pod is a fast-casual health food concept offering high-quality, locally sourced juices, açai bowls, and a variety of other fresh food and drink options.

When the Doylestown Juice Pod opens sometime this fall, it will be the first in Bucks County. The Juice Pod operates 21 stores in the Philadelphia area, southern New Jersey and Florida with future locations coming soon to the University of Delaware, Lehigh University, Marlton, N.J.. and Charlotte, N.C.
