New Hire Causes Chaos At Warrington Grocery Store: Police
Multiple employees told police that a new hire confronted another employee, began yelling, and threw merchandise at him.
WARRINGTON, PA — A man has been cited for disorderly conduct after he caused a disturbance on his first day of work at a Warrington grocery store.
Police responded to the Amazon Fresh store on Dec. 4 at 12:25 p.m. for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, police learned that a 21-year-old Philadelphia man, who had arrived for his first day of work, reportedly recognized another employee as someone who had previously threatened him.
Multiple employees told police that the new hire confronted the other employee, began yelling, and threw merchandise at him. One of the items struck the employee in the face. Police said the employee denied knowing the new employee.

Another employee provided officers with access to the man’s Instagram account, which contained a video showing him yelling profanities, racial slurs, and throwing merchandise at the employee.
Police issued the man a non-traffic citation for disorderly conduct and advised him that he is no longer permitted on Amazon Fresh property.
