BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Bucks County artist Jerry Cable has announced the release of his 2025 artist edition Christmas card - “Fetching the Christmas Pine.”

Drawing on a variety of local subjects when he paints each yearly piece, the images are both soothing and familiar. This year’s highly anticipated annual card features the iconic Erwinna Covered Bridge, located in Tinicum Township, Bucks County.

The historic bridge, built in 1832, is named after Colonel Arthur Erwin who served in the Bucks County Militia. The 56-foot-long wooden bridge spanning Swamp Creek, is the shortest bridge in the county.

“As a Bucks County artist, I try to select local subjects that are both familiar and soothing to the viewer," said Cable. "When deciding on this year’s image, I wanted the card to be uplifting as well as patriotic, so I included the American flag displayed on the actual bridge. With Christmas right around the corner, I hope my card will resonate with you as we all search for the light at the end of the tunnel – or covered bridge – this holiday season.”

Also featured is a team of Belgian horses pulling a bobsled, which belongs to the Howell Farm in
Lambertville, N.J.
