BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Clothing chain Old Navy has plans to open its third Bucks County store.

The retailer is seeking approval to construct a new building in the Newtown Shopping Center, near Bed Bath & Beyond. The application includes permission to construct the 12,500 square-foot building as well as 80 parking spots.

The new building will be located in an area that backs up to the high school, which has been reserved for potential future development, Newtown Township Planning Commission Vice Chair Peggy Driscoll told the supervisors during a meeting Wednesday.
