Also this weekend in Doylestown Borough, streets will once again be closed to vehicular traffic in an effort to draw shoppers and diners into town. On both Friday and Saturday, Main Street between State and Court streets will be closed to traffic from 5 to 11 p.m.
The latest plan comes after a portion of W. State Street was shut to traffic for the same reason a few days in June. Borough officials said the success of the program last month has prompted them to continue the effort.
