DOYLESTOWN, PA — There will be some changes when it comes to parking in Doylestown once Bucks County moves to the yellow phase of coronavirus mitigation on June 5.

Parking meter fees and enforcement have been suspended since the start of the coronavirus shut-down orders. But starting June 8, the Borough will again be enforcing the three-hour maximum time limit for metered parking spaces.

The meters will continue to be free, but parking will be prohibited for longer than the posted time period.

"This enforcement is necessary to promote parking turnover for the expected increase in economic activity," the borough said in an announcement.

Also, the borough will be reserving parking spaces for curbside pick-up throughout the downtown area. This is to accommodate businesses who will be permitted to reopen for curbside pick-up.
