Peddler's Village To Celebrate The Fourth With 'Red, White, And Blueberries'
New this year is a Stars & Stripes Strut during which guests are encouraged to sport their most patriotic outfits for a chance to win.

LAHASKA, PA — Peddler’s Village will be transformed into a Red, White, and Blueberries BBQ Bash on Friday, July 4. Scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the festival will celebrate both the patriotic holiday and the fruit recognized during National Blueberry Month.
The festival will include all-American grilled favorites, live music, a petting zoo, and family-friendly competitive lawn games including a balloon toss, three-legged races, a watermelon-eating contest, and more.
New this year is a Stars & Stripes Strut during which guests are encouraged to sport their most patriotic outfits for a chance to win a prize. Guests can enjoy fresh blueberries, housebaked pies, other blueberry treats and beverages, kids’ activities, and shop specials.

Outdoor food items available for sale will include: cheeseburgers, hot dogs, barbecue chicken and ribs, smoked turkey legs, coleslaw, potato salad, cucumber salad, street corn salad, blueberry slump (cobbler), and cubed watermelon.
The Water Wheel Food Tent, which is open every summer weekend (weather permitting), will be offering blueberry-inspired food and drinks in addition to its standard fare. The Cock ‘n Bull bakery
will have for sale a variety of made-from-scratch 9" pies including sour cherry, blueberry streusel, coconut cream, as well as 6” pie samplers, all available for pre-order and available for pick-up at the Visitor & Event Center July 4 through July 6.
The Corny Corner, which will continue to operate through the weekend, will also offer varieties of corn including corn ribs, Mexican street corn, beer-battered corn, blueberry lemonade and more.
Musical performers will include a live DJ on Street Road Green and the Galena Brass Band in the Gazebo.
Throughout the month of July, Peddler’s Village restaurants, eateries, and tasting rooms will also feature blueberry-themed food and drink specials.
The presenting sponsor of the Red, White, and Blueberries BBQ Bash is Hewn Spirits. Additional sponsors include State Farm, Luxury Bath, and Volpe Enterprises Inc.
Other summer event highlights include:
- Safari in Sand every day through August 31. Safari in Sand features majestic sand sculptures created by world-renowned sand artists that depict wild animals you’d encounter in a safari. Pick up a field guide at our Visitor & Event Center or outdoor kiosks to begin! On your tour, you’ll learn fun facts about the wild animals.
- Bucks Fever Tunes at Noon from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Fridays through August 29. Grab a bite to eat from one of the many restaurants and eateries and enjoy live music on the Village Green, presented in partnership with the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce.
- Bucks Fever Art & Sculpture Exhibition through July 6. The exhibition, in partnership with the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, features a wide range of artistic styles and prize-winning pieces, many of which will be for sale. Free admission. Open daily during shopping hours at the Visitor & Event Center.
- Food Truck Thursdays from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on June 19, July 24, August 21, and September 18. Bring your friends and family for an evening of great food and fun on Giggleberry Green. Free admission.
- Comedy in the Village at 8:00 p.m. on June 20. Three hilarious comedians take the stage for Comedy in the Village. This is a ticketed event and reservations are required. Mature humor, for adults 18+ only.
- Bucks Fever Talent Show from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. on June 21. Performers will showcase their skills and compete for prizes, including the grand prize of $3,000. The talent show is free to attend and is presented in partnership with the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce.
- Murder Mystery Dinners: Death of a Gangster and The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year (part of Santa's Summer Holiday) at 7:00 p.m. on June 27 and July 26, respectively. Purchase your tickets for interactive mystery dinner theaters presented in partnership with The Murder Mystery Co.
- Santa’s Summer Holiday from July 24 through July 27. Santa is returning to Peddler’s Village, but this time, for his summer vacation! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making special appearances throughout Peddler’s Village during their holiday. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus as well as enjoy special photo opportunities and events including a Safari Party featuring pay-as-you-go tropical-themed food, drinks, and entertainment on Friday, July 25.
- (Santa's) Safari Party on July 25. Join us for a Safari in Sand celebration. Enjoy live music by Caribbean-fusion band Trinidelphia Steelpan Band, snow/foam party, activities, photo ops, and pay-as-you-go tropical-themed food and drinks! Free admission. Part of Santa's Summer Holiday.
- Dueling Pianos & Desserts from 8:00 p.m. on July 25. Enjoy a rousing dueling pianos performance by New York-based pianists and a delicious array of desserts prepared by the Cock ‘n Bull’s pastry chef. This is a ticketed event and reservations are required.
- Peach Festival from 11:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. on August 2 and 3. Peach Festival will feature live entertainment, family activities, outdoor food and drinks, peach-themed specials and treats, a sidewalk sale, in-store specials, and more. All month long, Village guests can enjoy peach-inspired food and drink specials at restaurants, eateries, and tasting rooms. Free admission.
