Peddler's Village merchants have gone virtual in an effort to continue offering products and services during the coronavirus pandemic.

LAHASKA, PA — Peddler's Village merchants have gone virtual in an effort to continue offering products and services during the coronavirus pandemic.
Many of the shops in the village have implemented new business models and delivery methods, including shipping and curbside pick-up services. You can see what the shops in operation are offering by viewing the Virtual Village directory here.
Available products in the Virtual Village include beverages, baked goods, cooking materials, books, toys and games, home furnishings and hardware, clothing and accessories, self-care soaps and other products, art, specialty foods, and more.

“We are working very closely with our retailers to support them during this extremely difficult time,” said Peddler’s Village Chief Operating Officer Bob McGowan. “We have great respect for all of them. They are passionate, dedicated businesspeople who are now becoming even more determined, limber, and innovative than ever. We encourage everyone to help our community-based businesses now and in the future as we navigate this incredibly challenging situation.”
Peddler's Village shop owners are among the local businesses struggling during the pandemic. All non-essential businesses were ordered closed in mid-March by the governor.
Pennsylvania lawmakers this week passed a bill that would lift several of the coronavirus mitigation measures but Gov. Wolf is expected to veto the bill.
