Pedestrian Struck And Killed While Crossing Easton Road In Warrington
The accident happened in front of the Warrington Ambulance when a car struck the man who was in the roadway, police said.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A 38-year-old man was struck and killed Monday evening while he was attempting to cross Easton Road in a heavy rain storm.
Police said the accident happened at 8:25 p.m. in front of the Warrington Community Ambulance Corps when a Subaru Tribeca hit the man who was in the roadway. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Heavy rain was reported at the time of the accident, according to police. And there are no crosswalks on that section of the highway, police said.

The driver of the Subaru remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The man's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The Bucks County District Attorney's Office Crash Investigation Team is assisting with the case. Easton Road was closed in both directions for three hours between Oxford Drive and Parks Road.
