PennDOT To Close Portion Of Hilltown Pike Tuesday

HILLTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Hilltown Pike is set to be closed for eight hours on Tuesday as crews work to replace pipes, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

The closure is scheduled to run from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday between Township Line Road and Swartley Road in Hilltown Township, with drivers to be detoured around the work area.

Drivers will be directed to use Route 152 and New Galena Road to access Hilltown Pike. Local residents will be able to use Hilltown Pike up to the work zone.

PennDOT recommends drivers plan for potential delays Tuesday due to traffic backups by giving themselves extra time to reach their destinations.
