PennDOT To Fix Potholes On Doylestown Roads This Week

Some road closures can be expected in both the township and the borough while road crews make pavement repairs.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — PennDOT maintenance and contractor crews will fix potholes on several roads in Doylestown this week.

The crews have work planned across the Philadelphia region to repair deteriorated pavement on more than 55 state highways.

  • U.S. 202, Doylestown Township and Doylestown Borough.
  • Route 611 and ramps in Doylestown Borough and Plumstead, Tinicum, Nockamixon, and Bedminster townships.

PennDOT will also be conducting repairs on other area roads, including:

  • Route 309, Hilltown, Milford, West Rockhill, Richland, and Springfield townships.
  • Route 152, Perkasie Borough and Hilltown Township.
  • Cathill Road, Perkasie Borough and West Rockhill Township.
  • Bath Road, Bristol Township.
  • Pine Grove Road, Lower Makefield Township.
  • Carversville Road, Buckingham and Solebury townships.
  • Holland Road, Northampton Township.
  • Pineville Road/Stoney Hill Road, Solebury and Buckingham townships.
  • Mechanicsville Road, Bensalem Township.
  • Newportville Road, Bristol Township and Hulmeville Borough.
  • Jacksonville Road, Ivyland Borough and Warminster Township.
  • Oxford Valley Road, Middletown Township.

Some travel lanes will be restricted on these state highways to allow crews to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Drivers are advised to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews.

All activities are weather dependent, PennDOT reminded drivers in a news release.

PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting the PennDOT website and clicking on "Submit A Roadway Concern."
