Police Activity Closing One Lane Of Route 611 Bypass In Doylestown Twp.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Motorists traveling southbound on the Route 611 Bypass may encounter delays south of the State Street exit while police from Doylestown Township investigate an incident.

According to police, traffic is getting by, but the southbound lanes have been reduced to one lane.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the area if possible.

"There is no danger to the public," police said.

Police announced the lane closure and investigation around 12:23 p.m. on Tuesday.
