Police Investigating Hit-And-Run At Wawa Parking Lot
An 85-year-old Doylestown man was injured in a hit-and-run at a local Wawa Friday, police said.

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — An 85-year-old Doylestown man was injured in a hit-and-run at a local Wawa Friday, police said. The incident occurred just before 2 p.m. at the Wawa at 5854 Easton Road.
When Plumstead Township Police Department officers arrived at the scene, they found the 85-year-old man injured after being hit. Witnesses told police the striking vehicle fled the parking lot heading northbound on Easton Road.
Officers recovered video surveillance, which shows a silver Hyundai Accent driven by a white or Hispanic male getting out of the vehicle after hitting the man. The unidentified man attempted to assist the man, "but due to his injuries, he could not stand on his feet," police said.

Police said they have identified the owner of the vehicle and she is cooperating with investigators, "but it is still unknown who the male operator is."
It is not clear why the vehicle owner is not able to identify who was driving her car. Further information is expected to be released as the investigation continues, police said.
