Burglary, Domestic Assault Reported In New Britain Twp.

During April, the patrol unit handled 17 traffic accidents, 37 alarm calls, 46 medical emergencies, and 17 abandoned 911 calls.

NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — During April, the New Britain Township Police Department responded to a burglary and handled a domestic assault.

On April 29, police responded to Cartlane Circle for the report of a burglary. Members of the patrol and criminal investigation division conducted the investigation in which a known subject entered the home unknown to its occupants and a confrontation occurred. The subject was identified and
they were taken into custody on related charges.

On April 16, the patrol division was dispatched to a home on Sunybrook Drive for the report of a domestic assault. On arrival, a juvenile actor was found to be acting violently and in violation of their preexisting probation. They were taken to the Bucks County Juvenile Correction Center without issue.
