Political Signs Stolen in Doylestown: Recent Police Activity

Police took numerous reports of a person or group of people stealing political signs from residential properties in three municipalities.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following arrests and incidents between Sept. 16-30:

Wednesday, Sept. 16

Police charged a Doylestown man with driving under the influence after he was involved in a two-vehicle collision that occurred at around 8 p.m. at the intersection of West Butler and Tamanend Avenues in New Britain Borough.

Thursday, Sept. 17

A Brooklyn man was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he was allegedly seen urinating on the side of the UPS Store on Veterans Lane in Doylestown Borough.

Friday, Sept. 18

Police were called to the intersection of East Butler Avenue and Moyer Road at 9:30 a.m. for a report of a reckless driver. Responding officers witnessed the driver causing an accident, and the female driver was subsequently charged with driving under the influence.

An unknown witness reported someone stealing a BMX-style gold bicycle outside of Jules Pizza, 78 S. Main St., Doylestown Borough.

Tuesday, Sept. 29

Someone entered a shed on a residential property on Keeley Avenue in New Britain Borough and stole a white and black 2015 Husquvarna TC125 dirt bike valued at approximately $4,500.

Sept. 16-30

Police took numerous reports of a person or group of people stealing political signs from residential properties in the boroughs of Chalfont, Doylestown and New Britain, from Sept. 16-30.
