Quakertown To Host COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic
The COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be held at the old St. Luke's Hospital in Quakertown Borough.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Two more COVID-19 vaccine clinics are set to open in Bucks County this month as county officials anticipate receiving an increase in vaccine supply amid a countywide shortage.
The old St. Luke's hospital in Quakertown Borough is the latest site, along with another in the Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem, approved by Bucks County commissioners during their meeting Wednesday.
"We're grateful to both of these entities for allowing us to use their facilities," Bucks County Chief Operating Officer Margaret McKevitt said.

Both sites will able to administer between 200 and 500 of the Pfizer vaccine per day, McKevitt said. They are set to open on Tuesday, March 16, and will be open from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
The county will be contacting people for appointments who have signed up through the county's registration list, she said.

County officials received 4,700 doses on Monday, their biggest shipment of the vaccine to date. State officials have promised to continue increasing shipments, but the quantity of vaccine in Bucks County is still in short supply, Commissioner Bob Harvie noted.
"We are moving as quickly as we can to put shots in arms," Harvie said. "As soon as we get doses we put them out."
Health officials already plan to double the number of vaccinations given at the county's three existing clinics at the three Bucks County Community College campuses in Bristol, Newtown and Perkasie this week.
