Red Flag Warning Issued Across Eastern PA: What That Means
A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly.

PHILADELPHIA, PA —The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Red Flag
Warning for Saturday, Nov. 16 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for gusty winds and low relative humidity. The Red Flag Warning replaces the Fire Weather Watch, which is no longer in effect.
The warned area includes all of southeastern Pennsylvania, Berks County, and the Lehigh Valley.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly due to a combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels. Any fires that develop may quickly get out of control and become difficult to contain.
