Say Hello to New Doylestown Patch Editor
James Boyle takes over reporting duties for Doylestown Patch and pledges to continue providing the top news and information to the loyal readers.

It's been one day into my new role as the editor for Doylestown Patch, and I already love it. It's easy to see from the people I met and spoke with how much Doylestown Patch readers appreciate the news, information and engagement that Patch provides.
The eagerness and familiarity I enjoyed on Monday is a testament to the amount of hard work and dedication my predecessor, Sarah Larson, poured into this site. Working with her for the past two and-a-half years, I can tell you that she gave everything she had to make Doylestown Patch into what one Facebook commenter called "an institution."
I plan to continue in that same tradition set by Sarah, but also make my own mark on the site. After one day, my e-mail is already brimming with coverage requests and story ideas. I'm going to do my best to cover as much of it as I can, but I also want to make sure the readers out there are using all of the free, helpful tools on the site to promote their events and neighborhood news.

You can also add the event as an announcement, along with any news about your business or organization that you would like the community to know. Finally, we are always looking for local experts or people with interesting hobbies or points of view to contribute to our Local Voices blogs.
I can't tell you enough how excited I am to dig into Doylestown, Buckingham and New Britain and inform and interact with the loyal readers. If there's something you think I should be covering, or you just want to say hi, you can contact me at james.boyle@patch.com or (215) 300-2747. I'll see you around town!
